Bread of Life

Jesus said to them,
“I am the bread of life;
whoever comes to me shall not hunger,
and whoever believes in me shall never thirst."

That is a great verse, and the picture fits it well.

Did you take the photo?

Hi Elizabeth,
I enjoyed reading your insightful comments on "Perceiving a Knight in a Windmill". You are so right! I was curious about how close you are to Tulsa, since that's where my sister in law (and coconspirator at Pearls and Diamonds) lives. :)

That bread looks it a quick bread or a yeast bread?

Hi, everyone. Thanks for commenting. This is one of my favorite verses, so I knew I couldn't post the bread picture without it.

I took this picture a couple weeks ago. I had to hurry to get the picture. The bread was disappearing on me! In fact, a couple slices had already vanished before I could get the camera out!

It is a yeast bread made with King Arthur whole wheat flour. With the right ingredients, it isn't a hard bread to make.

I love the verse from John too but I can't believe there aren't more comments on how good that bread looks! I haven't eaten breakfast yet so I guess I'm just hungry...:) Ok, later!
