Family Vacation Day 11 -- Charlottesville, VA

We are on our way home now -- back to good old Oklahoma. We had so much fun visiting my aunt and uncle. Our family stopped today at the homes of two former presidents of the United States. Thomas Jefferson and James Monroe lived only 2 1/2 miles apart near Charlottesville, Virginia. This is a lovely state, and I have enjoyed our drive very much. God has been so great!

Family Vacation Day 7 -- Old Town Alexandria

The wedding went extremely well on Friday. I pray that God will bless my cousin's marriage. We have started to do more sightseeing now that the wedding is over. My aunt gave us a tour of Old Town Alexandria. What a place!
The architecture -- the townhouses in particular -- are so distinctive!

Family Vacation Day 3 -- Alexandria, VA

I saw the Washington Monument, Arlington Cemetery, Arlington House (Robert E. Lee's Family Home), and the Pentagon today. We weren't supposed to see them -- we were just trying to reach my aunt and uncle's house -- but we took a very wrong turn. My uncle had to come rescue us. Washington DC Traffic is unbelievable! We are having a great time with family. My cousin, the bride, is great, and it is so good to see my grandma again!
