One Thing: Understanding

"The unfolding of your words gives light;
it imparts understanding to the simple."
 Proverbs 119:130

He helps us understand.  What is understanding?  If I understand His words I will adjust my opinions to His and apply them to my life.

One Thing: Better

"Better is a little with righteousness
than great revenues with injustice.
The heart of man plans his way,
but the LORD establishes his steps."
Proverbs 16:8-9


There is no shame in having little if you are settled securely and unconditionally in the Lord's steps.

One Thing: Oneness

"I do not ask for these only [His Disciples], but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me." 
John 17:20-23

Jesus prayed for me. He prayed to the Father that I would be one with Him -- have His character and be totally united with Him in perfect agreement. If Jesus prayed for that, I want to be wholly and singularly devoted to being one with Him.

Tallgrass Prairie Preserve

My mom and I went to the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve. It was a beautiful day. The sky was blue; the grass was green. The bison were stunning.

Oklahoma Centennial Quilt Movie

I finished my second quilt in 2008 to celebrate the Oklahoma centennial the previous year. The plan was to make a movie with pictures of it, but it has taken me two years to complete the project. It is finally done! Enjoy!
