He helps us understand. What is understanding? If I understand His words I will adjust my opinions to His and apply them to my life.

The notion that "I'm entitled to my opinion" may be flawed. We are certainly free -- and our liberties are from God alone -- but our conscience must be informed by the Word of God alone.
I really appreciate your diligence in studying to be approved by God! Learning to give up an errant opinion when confronted with truth strengthens us.
