Announcing...
...The engagement of Zachary Pruett and Elizabeth Moore!
June 11, 2011 will be a special day. Zachary, my best friend and sweetheart, will be my husband in one year! I will be his wife! I am amazed at God's goodness toward us.
Looking back on the last several years, I can't help but smile at all the wonderful memories Zachary and I already have together. I eagerly anticipate our future. There are more sweet memories to make, more adventures to experience together, more things to learn about each other, and more ways for us to grow in our love.
I ask God for His guidance in my last year at home with my parents, brother, and sister, and I ask that you keep Zachary and me in your prayers as we prepare for our lives together as husband and wife. Thank you!

One Thing: Building
Unless the LORD builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the LORD watches over the city,
the watchman stays awake in vain.
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the LORD watches over the city,
the watchman stays awake in vain.
Psalm 127:1
Our efforts -- our best laid plans and hard work -- are worthless if we try to do anything without the Lord's blessing. Our best will never be enough. I must let the Lord "build" every part of my life from the ground up.

One Thing: Understanding and Discernment
1 Kings 3:5
David left a godly legacy of faithfulness, righteousness, and uprightness of heart. His obedience inspired Solomon to ask, "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that I may discern between good and evil, for who is able to govern this your great people?" 1 Kings 3:9
I want to live my life in such a way that people are drawn to God and desire His understanding and the ability to discern between good and evil. How can I do this? I start by asking God for His understanding.
